NO MORE TEARS

I wrote this at a very painful time of my life after the loss of my dear grandmother. While the Lord was comforting me at this difficult time, he laid these words upon my heart. I felt as though this is what my grandmother was saying to the family as she left this life for another one.

My time has come my loved ones
From this life I must depart
I'm headed for the Promised Land
I'll keep you in my heart

Don't grieve for me too long now
Stay strong for me with love
Remember all our good times
As I wait for you above

Remember that I loved you
And gave all that I could give
I'll forever be a part of you
As long as you will live

Take what I have taught you
And give to all that you will see
Draw closer to each other
As a family should be

Each time you are together
Remember that I cared
For each and every one of you
I had plenty love to share

As you go about your lives
As a family get along
Love and care for one another
For bitterness is wrong

Forget about the past
Let forgiveness rule your hearts
That way we'll be together
And we'll never be apart

I've gone to meet my Saviour now
Oh, what joy and peace I've found
It's all what I have dreamed of
There are angels all around

You must say goodbye now
And remember all I've done
To keep us all together
As a family to be one
